Our forecasts combine real-time NOAA weather data, satellite imagery, and live pilot reports (PIREPs). We update our models every 6 hours, and our ZeroTurb Index (ZTI) is calibrated against actual pilot reports. Like all weather forecasts, ours carry uncertainty - they are most useful for flights within 24 hours, and conditions can still change.

We recommend checking your forecast before takeoff and taking a screenshot of your turbulence timeline. However, if you have inflight WiFi, you can view live updates and check the turbulence map in real-time throughout your flight.
